One of my favourite shots. A sky that looks like a painting more than a photo. Crossing Kilbrannan sound from claonaig, near skipness point to the Isle of Arran, Lochranza.
Weather was really bad and we were lucky to get the last ferry. The dramatic sky was forming quickly and as the clouds were really low, rain started pooring down.
Bothwell Castle, southeast of Glasgow. One of the largest and finest examples of 13th century`s castles and towers. It has been rebuilt in many occasions but still has kept
the flavour of old past times.
Another favourite. Derwent waters is a beautiful place located in the lake district, South of Cumbria. Ideal for its walks, it offers a close link with nature.
As some people always wonder, the shot is not modified in any way, it just took a certain patience to get the bird to fly past at the right moment.
Although I am looking at the sky on that shot, It was coming back from Wastwater, one of the most impressive lakes of the Lake District.
It is surrounded by England`s highest peaks and it is an astonishing view from up there.
Culzean Castle. This is the same place as the photography of Culzean bay. The sun passing through the arch is just one of those surreal moments that I was lucky
to embrace.
Eventually my favourite. Still Culzean castle with another spontaneous shot as she passes through the arch. The lighting provided a great base for a high contrast shot.
Again, there is no digital retouching. The sky saturation in the blue and the elements visible only as a mask, provide the ingredients of a painting from Magritte.
One of the towers of Bothwell castle but seen through a chink in the wall. I increased the contrast settings on the camera to convert the already dark silhouette into
a mask that makes it look like a map.
