The Royal Mile in Edinburgh. While it nearly seems posed, this photo was taken at the busiest moment of the city, during the Edinburgh festival in August. I just had the time to quickly capture the moment between passing tourists. By changing the tones to Sepia and lowering my ISO,I managed to get the feel of a very old period, although this was 2004.
This is again a photo that looked posed but was not. We just about arrived at Wastwater lake. Some outstanding views at the valley quickly stopped us by the road. As they were all admiring the landscape, I thought this is too good to miss.
Georgia in Derwent Waters, another beautiful place of the lake district. Weather was particularly dramatic and offered some unique moments of photography.
The unique buzz and creative vibe of the Edinburgh festival. Here the gorilla trying to bribe some passing students, probably to attend and support a fringe event.
Another photo of Georgia as the wind and glittering light from the sunshine animate and illuminate the shot.
Marzia in the unique Inverarnan Drover`s inn. The piercing sunlight from the window above gave a unique mood to the shot while revealing a feline quality to her features that I had to immortalise.
One of the many performers at the Edinburgh festival. They certainly create a show that is both popular and engaging, gathering crowds of intrigued passing strangers.
Just a charming composition of a pub in Appleby. A person that seemed to fit just so well with the location. Time seems to stop when looking at this picture.
Our monkey man again. The shot being black and white, you cannot appreciate his glittering astronaut blue suit that made him stand amongst every body else.
